There are so many ways you can give of your time, talent and treasure to make a difference in the lives of the animals.

MONETARY GIFTS

	One-Time Gift Help us care for and shelter animals, find loving homes for abandoned and neglected pets, and combat animal overpopulation through spay and neuter education. Did you know that your employer may be able to match your gift? See your supervisor for the form, complete and mail it to HSHC.
	Monthly Gift Monthly giving offers a convenient way for you to support HSHC throughout the year by providing HSHC with a much-needed, dependable stream of income that we use to care for and shelter animals.
	Tribute/Memorial Gifts Make a thoughtful gift with special meaning that honors the life of a pet, friend or relative that is truly a lasting tribute.
	Workplace Giving Workplace giving programs allow employees to make regular donations to The Humane Society of Harford County through their companies’ payroll system. Employees may contribute a set amount per paycheck – or make a one-time gift.
	The Phoenix Fund Established to give critically injured or ill animals a second chance, donations to the Phoenix Fund are used to pay for expensive surgeries, medications and rehabilitation.
	Vehicle Donations Turn your assets into donation dollars.

Planned Giving

Bequests

One of the simplest ways to leave a charitable legacy to The Humane Society of Harford County is through a provision in your will. Your will provides the flexibility of specifying exactly how you wish to provide for animals. If you own anything at all, you should have a will so that the state is not left in charge of the distribution of your assets at your death.

Life Insurance

If you have an insurance policy that is no longer needed for the purpose it was originally purchased, you may wish to change the beneficiary to The Humane Society of Harford County.
