Dog Training
CANINE COLLEGE
The Humane Society of Harford County is pleased to offer our Canine College classes through Mutt Magic Training Services. Eight-week group classes are offered right here at the shelter and include:
- Basic/CGC Prep: Start with the basics and end with a Canine Good Citizen certificate! On graduation day, your dog can take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test to have your dog certified at the end of the course!
- Confidence Course: This course has been designed for the shy or fearful dog.
- S.T.A.R. Puppy Course: Start your puppy off on the right paw! Each session is half obedience and half puppy socialization. Many times we see adult animals surrendered to the shelter for bad behaviors learned at a young age. Getting your puppy on track early may prevent a shelter surrender in the future!
