Get ready for peace, love, and pets sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka! This summer, five Maryland animal shelters—The Humane Society of Harford County, BARCS, Maryland SPCA, Baltimore Humane Society, and Baltimore County Animal Services—are teaming up for a lifesaving mission that’s all about good vibes and second chances. Join the Humane Society of Harford County, the Maryland SPCA, and several other local animal shelters for a National Dog Day celebration on Saturday, August 29 from 11-3 on The AVENUE at White Marsh! HenPals Adoption Event
Chicken lovers, unite! The Humane Society of Harford County is excited to host our first hen re-homing event with HenPals Network! HenPals helps commercial laying hens transition from large-scale farms into adoptive homes—where they can enjoy life as backyard companions. Hens are 18-month-old ISA Browns, fully-vaccinated and are still regularly laying eggs. Join us for a Quarter Auction to support homeless animals on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Riverside Community Center in Belcamp! Tickets are $5 each and include 3 paddles.
