Need Pet Food?

The Humane Society of Harford County’s Pet Food Pantry provides free pet food for Harford County residents in financial need who are struggling to feed their pets. Our goal is to keep pets in their homes and out of shelters!

Guidelines

  • Please bring your driver’s license or state-issued I.D. showing your Harford County address.
  • You are permitted to visit once per month.
  • We are unable to distribute food prescribed by a veterinarian.
  • The food provided through this program is intended to help families who are struggling to feed their owned pets and is reserved for companion animals living in a home. Unfortunately, the pantry is not able to provide food for community or feral cat colonies. We understand that caring for outdoor cats can be challenging, but our limited pantry resources are specifically designated to help keep owned pets with their families and prevent them from entering shelters. Thank you for understanding and for caring about the cats in your community.

Donate Pet Food

The community pet food pantry is always in need of donations to replenish its inventory and will gladly accept donations during normal operating hours.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept or distribute food that is prescribed by a veterinarian.
