Fallston, MD (May 5, 2022) – Great food and drinks at five local pubs, giveaways and door prizes, and an abundance of fun-loving people assembled for a great cause? Yes, please! The Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC) today announced they are hosting a Pup Crawl on Saturday, June 11, 2022 along historic Main Street in downtown Bel Air to raise funds and awareness for the thousands of homeless animals it shelters each year. The Crawl is generously sponsored by Heather Schafer Adkins with the Adkins Letschin Home Group of Long & Foster.

Tickets are $35 per person and include a drink at each pub, a chance to win a door prize if the event pass is stamped at every bar, and a participation gift to all pup crawlers. If tickets do not sell out in advance, the price at the door is $45! Designated drivers and those who prefer unlimited soft drinks may purchase a Tag-Along ticket for $10 per person. Tickets are available at HarfordShelter.org/PupCrawl.

Sign-in is at Looney’s Pub beginning at 4:30pm and the Pup Crawl officially begins at 5pm. Crawlers are invited to visit these other fine establishments during the evening: AleCraft Brewery, MaGerk’s Pub, Main Street Tower, and Sean Bolan’s Irish Pub. Guests are invited back to Looney’s Pub at 9:00pm for a final reception to share one last drink together, toast sponsors, announce the door prize winners, and draw a grand prize raffle winner.

“After the pandemic forced us to cancel this event for two years, we’re super excited to be back together,” said Jen Swanson, HSHC executive director. “While the spirit of the event is lighthearted, the Crawl is a very important fundraiser. All proceeds help offset the cost of medications, vaccinations, and supplies for the animals at the shelter as well as maintenance and upkeep of the facility.”

All guests must be 21 years of age to participate, and while we love our furry friends, pets must stay at home.

Sponsorships are still available! Other participating sponsors include ConnectPay, Heated 4U, Route 24 Ale House, First Response Heating & Cooling, John Drexler, Bel Air AuPair, and TeamLogic IT.
