For some 100+ homeless dogs and cats at Baltimore area shelters, a second chance at life is just a quick road trip away! On Saturday, June 10, the Humane Society of Harford County (along with Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS, the Maryland SPCA, the Baltimore Humane Society and Baltimore County Animal Service) will be at the Timonium Fairgrounds—thanks to a generous grant from the Petco Foundation—for the Summertime Adopt-a-Thon, a multi-shelter, mega adoption event!
This “mega” adoption event is the largest in the Baltimore area and surrounding counties and features:
- 100+ adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies–all types, all sizes!
- Waived adoption fees for all pets! Out-of-state adopters welcome, too.
- SAME-DAY ADOPTIONS! Owned pets are not permitted at this event.
- June 10, 2017 from 11 – 4 p.m. at the Timonium Fairgrounds: 2200 York Rd, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093
The event will open to the public promptly at 11 a.m. on the morning of June 10 and remain open until 4 p.m. or until all pets have been adopted. Families are able to bring home their new furry friends the day of the event. All adoptions are first come, first served and adoption fees have been waived for all pets at the event. Standard adoption procedures still apply. Adopters should bring a valid photo ID. See ya there!
