Fallston, MD (May 13, 2026) – The Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC), in partnership with the Harford County Health Department, is hosting a public pet vaccination and microchipping clinic on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10am-2pm at the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, 2600 Castleton Rd, Darlington, MD 21034.
The clinic will offer distemper and Bordetella for dogs, distemper for cats, and rabies vaccines for dogs, cat, and ferrets. Vaccines are $15 each, and payment is via cash or major credit card. Pets can also be microchipped at the clinic for $25. In addition, special guest Heart to Heart Mobile Pet Care, LLC will be onsite offering $20 nail trims. Appointments are not required and the clinic is open to all, regardless of where they live.
“Our clinics are for everyone, regardless of zip code or income level,” said Amanda Hickman, HSHC’s executive director. “We know times are tough, and by helping families save on preventive care like vaccines and microchipping, we hope they’ll be better prepared financially if an emergency arises.”
Animals must be at least 4 months old to be vaccinated. To ensure the safety of everyone, dogs must be on a non-retractable leash with a properly fitted collar, and cats and ferrets must be safely secured in carriers.
“We’re excited to bring our clinic to northern Harford County and help make basic pet care more accessible,” Hickman added. “Our last clinic, held in Abingdon in February, was our largest yet, with 392 dogs and 154 cats vaccinated and/or microchipped in just four hours.”
