Attention to everyone who loves a good bargain and finding lots of great treasures too! HSHC is hosting a yard sale on Saturday, April 25th from 8am-12pm on our parking lot in front of the shelter building! We’ll have pet supplies, household items, holiday decorations, and more with deals galore!

We are inviting our friends in the community to become a vendor and sell your unwanted treasures too. Spaces are $20 each and 100% of the proceeds benefit the animals. Please use the form at the bottom of this page to register!
The shelter will open at 10am to view and adopt the animals waiting for homes.
In the event of inclement weather, our rain date is Sunday, April 26 from 8am-12pm. We will post updates here and on our Facebook page.

Vendor Rules & Regulations:
- $20 fee per booth space. Spaces are reserved in 9’ x 18’ parking spaces. You are permitted a maximum of 2 spaces. No refunds will be issued on space rental. If vendor cancels, booth fee becomes a tax-deductible donation.
- All items sold must be either handmade or gently used yard sale type items. No third-party or direct sales vendors with mass produced merchandise will be accepted.
- Sale runs from 8am-12pm. This is an outdoor event, so plan accordingly.
- Vendors must provide their own equipment such as tables, chairs, canopies (with legs secured by weights), etc.
- Unloading is from 7am-8am. Vehicles must be unpacked immediately at your space and moved to the vendor parking area by 7:30am. No vehicles will be permitted inside the sales area between 7:30am & 12pm. Setup at your booth must be completed by 8am. Please do not pack up early!
- Payment must be received in full at the time of registration. Cash or check accepted (payable to HSHC); online payment preferred at harfordshelter.org.
- If you bring it in, you must carry it out! Everything must be cleared by 2pm.
- No electricity or running water is available outside.
- Restrooms are located inside the shelter.
- Rain date is Sunday, April 26. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified by email. If you are unable to participate in a potential rain date, please do not apply.
- Although we love the animals, pets are not permitted at this event.
- The following actions/items are not allowed: violent or abusive behavior (verbal or physical), alcohol, drugs or other illegal substances, firearms or weapons of any kind, obscene material.
By submitting payment below, vendor agrees to adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Humane Society of Harford County. Vendor understands that they are responsible for loss or damages to their items, as well as any injury they and/or guest(s) may incur at the venue. Vendor understands that booth space is not secured until registration has been submitted and payment has been received.
