Senior pets have years of experience in the fine art of friendship! November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, so the adoption fee for all senior pets at The Humane Society of Harford County is 50% off all month long (6 years old and above). Pets who have been at the shelter 30 days or longer are also 50% off…YES!
If your new pal isn’t already spayed or neutered, simply leave the required $50 deposit and get a certificate for the procedure. Once your veterinarian has completed the procedure (within 60 days please), your $50 will be refunded…YES!
Adoption fees include the following:
- Distemper vaccination – DHPP (dogs) or FVRCP (cats)
- Rabies vaccination (if 3 months of age or older)
- Canine flu vaccination
- Canine kennel cough vaccination
- FeLV (feline leukemia) & FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) testing
- De-wormer
- Flea & tick preventative
- Microchip
- Free sample of Hill’s Science Diet food
- General exam
