Humane Society of Harford County Hosting “No Fleas” Yard Sale & Bake Sale

Shelter gives second chances to animals and household items!

Fallston, MD (July 31, 2012) – The Humane Society of Harford County will hold a huge yard sale on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 8am – 2pm both days, rain or shine. The sale will be held inside the shelter’s Pole Barn and will spill out onto the grounds of the animal shelter at 2208 Connolly Road in Fallston, MD.

Items for sale include, but are not limited to, pet supplies, holiday decorations, household items, children’s games, books and movies, electronics, furniture, small appliances, and much more. The public is asked to donate gently-used items for the sale; however, clothing, TVs, computers and computer accessories will not be accepted. Donations are tax-deductible and will be accepted at the shelter Mondays through Fridays from 11am to 6pm; Saturdays from 10am to 5pm; and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.

Don’t fret if you don’t find a treasure – take home something sweet from the bake sale. There will be a variety of cookies, brownies, cupcakes and other refreshments to tempt your sweet tooth.
