You’re Invited to a Kitten Shower!

We’ll soon be hearing the pitter patter of little paws, so to celebrate and prepare for kitten season and all the new arrivals, the Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC) is throwing a Kitten Shower on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1PM at the shelter on 2208 Connolly Road in Fallston.

Help us welcome all the little ones by:

  • bringing a donation from our kitten wish list,
  • watching a bottle feeding demonstration,
  • playing some kitten games,
  • meeting our foster coordinator and learning about our life-saving foster program, and
  • talking to other foster parents and applying to become a foster parent!

HSHC has a well-established foster care program that places kittens into temporary homes when they are either too young for adoption or are being treated for an illness. Having trained foster care providers and a pantry well stocked with supplies is part of HSHC’s proactive life-saving strategy.

The complete list of most-needed items is HERE and we also have an AMAZON WISH LIST and a CHEWY WISH LIST. Gift cards to area pet stores, Walmart, Target, etc. as well as monetary donations are also accepted and appreciated.

Can’t make it to the shower?

Donations can be shipped to the shelter at 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 21047 or dropped off on the following days/times: Monday through Friday from 11am – 6pm; Saturday from 10am – 5pm; and Sundays from noon – 4pm.
