Help shelter animals by collecting gifts for under their tree!
We’ve put together a special holiday list of our most-needed supplies, so if you’d like to be a hero to the animals this holiday season, here’s how:
- Get a big cardboard box (decorations are encouraged, but not necessary)
- Print copies of our Holiday Wish List (download a PDF here) to hand out.
- Set a deadline and tell everyone at work | school | church that you’re collecting supplies for the animals. Use email, social media, flyers, a megaphone (kidding, but hey, why not?)
- Send reminders because life gets busy
- When your donation drive is over, bring the sack filled with goodies to the shelter during our business hours (weekdays from 11-6 and weekends from 10-5).
- Our staff will give you a donation slip to fill out. They will also ask you to pose for a photo with all the loot you collected. We will post this photo to our social media. If there are children present, please make sure you’ve gotten their parents’ permission for photos.
Finally, before you leave, please take a walk through the shelter to see all the furry faces you’ve just helped.
