Do your grocery shopping at the Weis Markets stores in Bel Air or Havre de Grace in May and at the register, round your total to the nearest dollar for homeless animals! The 15th annual PAWS FOR PETS campaign is an important fundraiser for the shelter. Donations are used throughout the year for:
- fresh produce for the small animals
- laundry detergent, bleach and other supplies
- refreshments for our annual Kitten Shower and other special events
- volunteer & staff appreciation events
In 2022, Weis Markets raised over $340,000 for its partnering shelters and rescue agencies. Overall since Weis started the program, it has donated over $3M. We look forward to another successful PAWS FOR PETS campaign!
