**OPERATIONAL UPDATE: MAY 14 @ 11:30AM**
Governor Hogan has announced that animal shelters may reopen as of Friday, May 15 at 5pm, with strong social distancing and other health and safety precautions in place. Our team is currently discussing and implementing procedures and some facility changes to ensure that we can reopen in a safe and responsible manner. Until further notice, our current operating procedures will remain in place: We are open to the public by appointment only for adoptions and owner surrenders.
For help with specific needs during this time, please follow these guidelines:
IF YOU’RE LOOKING TO ADOPT
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-836-1090 with the name of the animal(s) you’re interested in. You can view our animals at: https://www.harfordshelter.org/animals. An adoptions counselor will contact you with further information and to schedule an appointment.
IF YOU’VE LOST OR FOUND A PET
Visit www.harfordshelter.org/services/lost-found to file an online report. If you’re bringing in a stray animal or you know that your animal is at the shelter, please ring the bell at the shelter’s front door and someone will assist you. You do not need an appointment.
IF YOU NEED TO SURRENDER A PET
