Fourteen-month-old Duke arrived at the Humane Society of Harford County on 11/19 with extremely labored breathing and was transported to Harford Emergency Vet for x-rays and bloodwork. Duke’s chest x-rays revealed some areas of concern and he will need a bronchoscopy to determine what is going on.
During a bronchoscopy, a veterinarian will use a flexible endoscope to examine the inside of Duke’s trachea and lower airway. The cost includes the bronchoscopy, fluid analysis, cultures, anesthesia, imaging, and blood work.
