A Community Dog Park for Dogs and Their People!
A local Harford County resident created "Rebel's Fund" to build this community dog park on the picturesque grounds of the Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC). The site is a perfect location. What better place than this quiet, beautiful area full of love and life that the Shelter animals enjoy?
Named after Rebel, a big, old black lab mix that was adopted from the Humane Society of Harford County in 1993, Rebel's Dog Park will serve as a community dog park for anyone who needs a place to romp and make friends.
Rebels Dog Park opened in November of 2006 and has been a huge hit in our community. Over 70 dogs and their people graced the park on opening day in November.
Ongoing funding is needed for ongoing improvements to create an ideal dog park for both small and large breed dogs.
Our hope is that our Harford and surrounding county resident's will use this Dog Park as a place to socialize their pets and develop a community of friends through regular visits.
We appreciate your donations for Rebel's Park. It will be a protected area for many pets for years to come.
Thank you! We hope to see you there!!
